China Girls Math Olympiad (CGMO) 2026

Our students put their mathematical skills to the test at the China Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad, earning Gold and Silver Awards while forging new friendships and experiencing Changsha beyond the competition.

Congratulations to Xu Fanqi (403) and Luo Xinya (209) on their Silver and Gold Awards respectively at the China Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (CGMO), held in Changsha this August!

Organised by the Chinese Mathematical Society, CGMO brings together talented young female mathematicians from China and beyond to challenge themselves through high level mathematics while connecting with peers from different places.

From this event, Fanqi shares about the friendships and experiences that made the trip memorable:

CGMO was a really memorable experience for me. Beyond the competition, I got to know my teammates better, explore Changsha as a city and learn about its history, as well as make friends with other participants. I'm grateful that I got to experience both the intensity of the competition and the friendships that came with it.
