Congratulations to Luo Xinya (209) on clinching a Silver Medal in the individual component of the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) in Mongolia!

Bringing together young mathematical thinkers from 32 countries, IMC encourages students to apply their mathematical thinking in a spirit of friendly competition.

Adding to this achievement, Luo Xinya (209) was part of a randomly assigned team with three students from RI, emerging as both Group and Team Champion, and finishing 2nd Overall among the participating teams.

Well done, Xinya, for rising to the challenge!

IMC 2026 was an unforgettable experience. From solving questions under tight time limits during the individual round to collaborating with others during the team round, this competition pushed me to grow in many ways. Beyond the competition, bonding with like-minded peers from around the world and the puzzle challenge made the trip more memorable. I really appreciate the friendships I formed and the experiences I gained, and I hope to embark on similar trips in the future.
