Combining research, experimentation and scientific debate, our students tackled real-world physics problems at the Singapore Young Physicists’ Tournament 2025, earning Gold and Bronze awards.
Beyond equations and textbooks, physics comes to life when students tackle real-world problems—testing, debating, and refining their understanding through rigorous scientific discussions. The Singapore Young Physicists’ Tournament (SYPT) offers just that: an authentic learning experience that mirrors the work of real physicists.

From conducting research and building models to experimenting and defending their findings before experts, participants gain invaluable skills in scientific inquiry and argumentation.
