Tamil Language

• சிங்கப்பூர்ப் பாடத்திட்டத்தில் இருமொழிக் கொள்கை முக்கிய  இடம்பெறுகிறது. 

• பல இனம், பலமொழி, பல  கலாச்சாரம் கொண்ட சூழலில் ஆங்கிலம் தொடர்பு மொழியாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. 

• இருப்பினும் நம்நாட்டின் வரலாறும் கலாச்சாரமும்  ஆசியாவில் வேரூன்றி உள்ளதாலும், நம் பல இன அடையாளத்தையும்  கலாச்சாரத்தையும் நிலைநாட்ட தாய்மொழியே உதவுவதாலும், நம் இருமொழிக் கல்விக்கொள்கைப்படி எல்லா மாணவர்களும் அவரவர் தாய்மொழியைப் போதுமான அளவு கற்பதோடு அதை உயர்நிலையிலும் கற்றிட வேண்டும்.

Learning Outcomes

• உள்நாட்டு மக்களோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், தம் தாய்மொழி வழங்கிவரும் மற்ற இடங்களிலும் தெளிவாகவும்  சரியாகவும்  தம்  தாய்மொழியைப் பயன்படுத்துவர்; பல்வேறு துறைகளில் இருமொழிக் கொள்கையைச் செயற்படுத்துவர்.

• தங்கள் வயதிற்கும் அனுபவத்திற்கும் உட்பட்ட பொருத்தமான கவிதைகளை, சிறுகதைகளை, நாவல்களை, கட்டுரைகளைப்  படித்துப் புரிந்துகொள்வதோடு அவற்றின் அழகியலை ரசிக்கவும் அவற்றை ஒட்டித் தம் கருத்துகளைப் பொருத்தமாக வெளிப்படுத்தவும் அறிந்திருப்பர். 

• தம் கலை, பண்பாட்டு மரபுகளைத் தெளிவாக உணர்ந்து கடைப்பிடிப்பர்.

• தாய்மொழியிலும் படைப்பாற்றல் திறனும்  துருவி ஆராயும்  இயல்பும் கொண்டவர்களாக விளங்குவர்.

• உலகமயமாதலில் திறமையுடனும் செயல் திறத்துடனும் செயல்படுவர்.
