Illuminating Nature

Held at the Wallace Environmental Learning Lab (WELL) at the Dairy Farm Nature Park, 'Illuminating Nature' is a two-day camp which pioneers a multi-perspective site-specific approach to learning set in a natural environment.

This pilot programme by RGS brings together a diverse group of students with special interests in Biology, Literature and Art. Along-side a distinguished panel of professional practitioners in these disciplines, through exploration and sharing, the students experienec for themselves up-close a multiplicity of responses to nature.

Experience 'Illuminating Nature' by taking a walk through our students' blog at http://artreach.tumblr.com/

The results of these experiences will be translated into scientific studies, writings, works-of-art and even disciplinary projects. The works will be showcased in a combined exhibition between RGS students and professional artists from Artists Caravan. Titled Manicured Nature, this exhibition will be held at WELL from 7 May to June this year.
