YDSP Congress 2025

The Young Defence Scientists Programme (YDSP) is a platform for DSO and DSTA to engage students so as to promote awareness and generate interest in defence science and technology. The annual YDSP Congress serves as a platform to recognise students who participated in YDSP activities in the previous year, and to recognise the recipients of the 2024 YDSP and DSTA JC scholarships.

We are proud to announce that the following students received the YDSP scholarship from the Guest-of-Honour, Senior Minister of State for Defence, Mr Heng Chee How:

  • Zhang Jinghan (S309)

  • Cheah Kai Ru Kendra (S311)

The YDSP Scholarships are awarded to talented Year 3 individuals with outstanding academic achievements and a passion for science and technology.

We also congratulate the following students who were presented with the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) Junior College Scholarship:

  • Gwen Lim Yixuan (S412’24)

The DSTA JC Scholarships are awarded to exceptional Year 5 students with the passion to contribute to defence science and technology.
