Non Teaching Positions
1. Laboratory Technician
You will assist in the delivery of smooth-running Science and STEM lessons, support students and teachers in investigative projects, ensuring safe lab practices and facilitating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The Laboratory Technician is expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with science teachers, students and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
-
Assist teachers in the daily management and operations of the Science lab, including preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment for practical classes to ensure practical work is conducted smoothly and efficiently.
-
Conduct safety inspections to determine whether conditions are safe or any remedial actions need to be taken.
-
Maintain records of health safety for compliance with government and school regulations.
-
Uphold responsibility for inventory/ stock-taking to track school supplies and source for and purchase materials for practical to ensure a sufficient supply of required materials.
-
Assist Laboratory Manager in coordinating lab & curriculum needs, preparing subject lab budget in collaboration with teachers and monitoring the expenditure for practical and project requirements.

Collaborate with teachers on STEM learning experiences and student project support
-
Liaise with external vendors and partners on laboratory checks, asset management and service support.
Requirements
-
Possess a Diploma in Science discipline.
-
Possess good interpersonal and IT literate skills.
-
Able to work independently and conscientiously.
-
Prior experience in laboratory work in secondary schools and/or industries and familiarity with safety requirements in science laboratories.

2. Laboratory Assistant
You will assist in the smooth running of Science and STEM laboratories by supporting students and teachers in investigative projects, ensuring safe lab practices and facilitating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The Laboratory Assistant is expected to maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors for laboratory readiness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers in the daily management and operations of the Science lab, including preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment for practical classes to ensure practical work is conducted smoothly and efficiently.

Ensure safety procedures, records and protocols in compliance with government and school regulations.

Maintain responsibility for inventory and stock-taking of lab materials and new supplies.

Assist Laboratory Technician and Manager in budget formulation, requisition and administration of stocks.
-
Coordinate with Laboratory Manager and Science/STEM teachers for lab and curriculum needs and Estate for the daily upkeeping of the laboratories.
-
Provide guidance during lessons and/or CCA to ensure students are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge for safe and successful experiments.
-
Liaise with external vendors and partners on laboratory checks, asset management, and service support.
Requirements
-
Possess a Diploma in Science discipline.
-
Possess good interpersonal and First Aid certification skills.
-
Able to work independently and conscientiously.
-
Preferably good knowledge in Biology/ Chemistry/ Physics.

3. Executive, Operations
You will report to the Manager, Operations and be responsible for all
delegated duties related to the facilities management, safety and security
and logistics support of the school. You will also ensure the safety and
security of staff and students on school premises and accountability for
use of budget resources within policies and processes set by procurement
and finance.
Key Responsibilities
School Safety
-
Serve as a member of the School’s Emergency Response Group.
-
Support the school in conducting fire/emergency drill exercises as part of the school’s safety and emergency preparedness protocol.
-
Build and maintain positive relationships with the school’s staff, students, and visitors and respond to their feedback, and attend to emergencies outside of regular office hours when necessary.
Facilities Management
-
Conduct daily inspections to ensure the building remains in optimal and functional condition, addressing issues or providing recommendations to management for corrective actions to be taken.
-
Establish routine checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness, car park operations, and overall building upkeep.
-
Translate business requirements into clear contractual agreements with suppliers through thorough analysis, tendering processes, and effective negotiation.
-
Supervise and drive contractors’ performance in carrying out operational functions such as security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, event set-up, lifts, carpark operations, building repairs and maintenance, logistics & storage management and fire safety.
-
Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all estate-related functions to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
-
Ensure all building systems and components receive timely servicing in accordance with scheduled maintenance plans and work specifications, with regular reviews for improvements.
-
Oversee the progress of building works and construction projects to ensure that projects are in compliance with protocol in terms of cost, quality, timeline and scope, and ensure post-development issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
-
Coordinate timely rectification of building defects, working closely with contractors to conduct necessary inspections and tests.
-
Conduct regular checks on fire protection systems to verify proper functionality and follow up with corrective measures or recommendations when deficiencies are identified.
-
Liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and relevant authorities to facilitate improvement works while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
-
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of defects, maintenance progress, and resolution timelines to ensure transparency and effective communication.
Administration
-
Collate data and provide inputs to support the Manager in preparing the annual budget and any ad hoc budget requests.
-
Monitor the utilization of both operational and capital expenditure budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with approved plans.
-
Assist in contract management and procurement processes, maintaining accurate records and documentation related to building operations and service contractors.
-
Manage and provide support for the usage of shared facilities and amenities, ensuring proper scheduling, upkeep, and user compliance.
Requirements
-
Minimum Diploma in any technical field
-
3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, facilities management, safety and emergency planning
-
Good knowledge of Infocom Technology with experience with facilities management applications
-
Good knowledge and understanding of the building industry and building regulations
-
Good organizing abilities, interpersonal and communications skills
-
Fire Safety Manager certification would be an advantage

4. CCA Flexi Adjunct Teachers
Teachers-in-charge of co-curricular activities (CCA) play an important role in managing the CCA in a school. Your main responsibilities as a CCA teacher are:

To collaborate with other teachers IC of CCA and the coach/ instructor in delivery of the CCA Programme to achieve CCA objectives
-
To monitor students’ participation
-
To assist in coordinating CCA resources for effective CCA delivery and ensure that CCA attendance are submitted on time and with accuracy
Requirements
-
Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Able to commit to up to 1 academic year
-
Prior teaching experience or experience working on youth programmes is an advantage
-
Registered with MOE as FAJT
